Acne #1

I started having acne when I was 13 years old. I'm 23 this year. It has been 10 years. I've been battling with acne for 10 years!?

I've tried a lot of products. I've tried to control my diet. I've tried to exercise. I've tried drinking lots of water. I've tried taking supplements. I've tried.

I get a lot of acne even on days when I'm not having my period. I get acne everyday to put it simply. My face gets really red at times and its disgusting to see myself in the mirror.

As I got slightly older, I started to have this nasty ones which stays underneath the skin. They're not small, I got the huge ones which gets really painful.

I almost gave up until I met a stranger online who has now became my friend. She motivated me to never stop trying.

I finally decided to make an appointment with a doctor. From then on, I've yet to regret my decision.

He gave me a specifically formulated gel to be used every night as a start. The gel contains retinoic acid, niacinamide (reduces inflammation and sebum, hydrates the skin and reduces pigmentation to improve skin texture) and clindamycin (prevents acne and inflammation-causing bacteria multiplying).

I started on 9th July 2015. Photos that you'll see below in 'After' was taken earlier today (19th August 2015). It has been slightly more than a month and you can definitely see my skin improving.

After about a month of using that gel, I haven't been getting the nasty ones that stays underneath the skin. The number of pimples I get was significantly reduced.

What you see in the 'After' photos are mainly my scars. That's another issue but I'm glad that the pimples issue is getting so much better.

Not only that, my skin texture improves too! I'm still continuing with the gel and see how it goes. I'm actually getting the cleanser too from my doctor to see if that will do any more help.

As for the acne scars (pitted scars too), anybody knows what I can do to heal them?

How?

How are you supposed to know if you're to hold on to it or let it go?

AVON mega effects mascara,

As typed on the title, that's something new that I tired a while back.

To be honest, it's not something great. It's just an okay product. It's not that bad and not very good too.

I think it will only work with someone with longer lashes. My friend who has short lashes said that it's impossible to work with this mascara without ending up with panda eyes.

Out of 5 I'll only give it a 2. I do have long lashes so I don't end up with panda eyes while applying which gives 1 point and the other point is for it being able to removed easily with make up remover/cleanser.

It doesn't do much of lengthening and volumizing for myself.

Have you tried it? What's your say?

Do you?

People ever asked me, "Do you wear inspired items?"

To be honest, yes I do. I do wear inspired items for certain things.

"Are you shy about it?"

Well, no I'm not especially knowing that it's something that isn't a classic trend. Why should I spend a bomb on such items right?

If I were to spend a bomb on certain things, I'll make sure I park my money for something that are classic/timeless and of course with a great quality.

Talking about quality, you can also find great inspired quality items too, you just got to "dig and rummage" around (:

Better,

2015 has pretty much been good so far. Looking forward to a lot of things/events this year. I'm definitely appreciating more little things in life - it does makes life more cheerful (: I manage to do some self reflecting, starting to love myself more. I should be a little selfish for myself right?

Things are looking alright so far. More adventures to come.

Achievement,

6 years later I finally brought back the hard work that I've put in to achieve a distinction.

Something that I'll always treasure. I wasn't an academic kind of person but when it comes to art, it is something that brings me out to another life.

Welcome home baby.
